Regular Programming Resumes…

Hi  and welcome to the new look ‘Kitchen Butterfly’ site!

First of all, apologies for being away for so long. We’ve been cooking something exciting for you…and now it’s done – hope you like it.

After five + years, it was time for a re-organisation.

So, whats new?

The new look KB site is powered by a new, improved engine. It is faster and responds ‘nicer’, regardless of the device you’re visiting on and it designed to be more interactive.

This engine, framework will power a few new features – coming soon.

In the meantime, here are a few highlights for you

The New Layout: displays stuff we’ve handpicked for you to read first, then a grid of the most recent posts in descending order and lastly, special sections or niches that you might be interested in.

Improved Interaction: the whole site lives and is easy to interact with. If you want to tell us you enjoyed a post but have only one hand free, you can “like” it, just as you would on Instagram.

Read what you want: The challenge with great content – like we have can be overwhelming on the reader, so on the new site, you get to “DJ” your content with our skip backwards, skip forward and “random” article features. Or sort the articles based on views or comments.

There’s loads more, already up and loads coming soon, but we won’t want to spoil it by telling you every thing now, would we? So why not go take a look for yourself. Let us know what you like and what you’d like to see.

Many thanks to PrecogMedia for the good work.

What is your favourite thing about the new look? What’s your least favourite?

Thank you and stay well.[wpurp-searchable-recipe]Regular Programming Resumes… – – – [/wpurp-searchable-recipe]

  1. Love love love it !!! Ozoz.. The new layout is truly more interactive. I love the way you write a genuine naija foodie.
    Keep up the good work.

  2. I love how you write about food – you make everything so practical. Your article on snails was one of my favourites – can’t stand the thought of them, but reading about it how you wrote about it made me (almost) want to eat them. So, I am very pleased you are back in action.
PS. Random article is a great idea.

  3. Stunning layout! I love it!

You know I learnt how to cook ukodo from you! I strong-armed family and friends into bringing the spices in the original form for me!!! I just tried your yam waffles, but I actually used sweet potatoes. I am waiting for my suya spice from home 😉 Don’t ever stop cooking!

    • Thank you so much, Deji. I appreciate it. These are the things that make it worth it.

If you ever feel like writing about the Kitchen Butterfly recipes you’ve tried, I’ll gladly feature them. Stay well

  4. The new layout of the site looks great, O. I started visiting your blog quite a while ago, I’ve loved it since, and I’ll keep loving it.
I just need to find the time to actually try out some of the recipes.
    Well done, O!
    🙂
